Taru recorded in 2016 album titled "KoJo Time" in legendary Rudy Van Gelder studio in New Jersey released under the JAZZLEADSHEATS.COM label paying tribute to his father, legendary tenor saxophone player Roland Alexander by playing his original compositions.

The album consists of nine original compositions of Taru's father, Roland Alexander, an American post-bop jazz tenor saxophone player.
